Do you offer handyman services?

We primarily take on full-scope custom projects. However, we do offer small tasks (like furniture assembly, minor repairs, or installations) with a 2-hour minimum. These are best booked via direct contact or TaskRabbit.

How does pricing work?

ricing varies by scope, but here are some typical starting points:

  • Accent walls: $499+

  • Beams & ceilings: $1,200+

  • Trim refresh: $349+

  • Outdoor builds: $2,500–$15,000+

Do you offer payment plans?

We’re working on offering financing through partners like Wisetack. In the meantime, payment is due upon project completion unless otherwise arranged.

Are you licensed and insured?

Tekton Legacy Construction operates as Zimmerman Legacy Holdings LLC and carries liability insurance, including general liability and limited tool/material coverage. While Texas doesn’t require licensure for carpentry, we hold ourselves to a high professional standard with every project.

Where are you based

We’re based in the 380 corridor area and serve surrounding parts of North Texas—including Denton, Prosper, Celine, Frisco, Aubrey, McKinney, Little Elm, and beyond.

What does “Tekton” mean?

“Tekton” is a Greek word meaning “builder” or “craftsman,” famously used to describe Jesus in Mark 6:3. Our name reflects our belief that every project is a chance to build something meaningful—with skill, integrity, and faith.
